GOVERNANCE AND ADVISORY STRUCTURE

The Center for Information Assurance and Security is in the Office of the Vice President for Research. Administration of the Center is under the direction of Dr. Wei Zhao, Director, and two proposed Associate Directors. Additionally, one representative from each of three participating colleges, Business, Engineering and Science, serve on the CIAS directorate. The Director reports directly to the Vice President for Research who reports to the Executive Vice President and Provost.

An Advisory Board supports and advocates for the Center's research, education, outreach, and fund-raising programs. The Deans of the represented colleges serve as member of the Advisory Board as do representatives from industry and other recognized experts in the field.
